Smile: hilarious text from my mom --
"No Diggitty" is on the radio. Made me think of you because I know you like gangsta rap.

In her defense, Dr.Dre is on that record.

But yeah, that is pretty hilarious.

yeah I thought of that too. Although I'm fairly certain there was a radio edit without his intro verse... an most likely that would be the version playing on a station my mom is listening to.

Here's to hoping she doesn't buy you a "Best of Genuwine" cd for X-mas.

:) : Had to call in to work for yesterday night/this morning. I came down with one of those 24-hour flus, which only lasted about 12 hours in my case.

:( : Of course, that means one day's less pay.

I used winamp on my computer when I play music at events up until three years ago. It is simple, efficient, uses low resources, and doesnt crash. Sadly, VLC has over taken it in almost every aspect.

VLC is the best for anything and everything, especially video. Any file format, it plays.

Still smiling: On entering the grocery store I chatted with a Salvation Army Volunteer who was decked out in gloves, a toboggan, and a heavy coat. After giving a donation I asked if he would like a hot chocolate brought out to him from the store's starbucks cafe. "You don't have to, but that would be very kind of you".

The barista asked "What's your poison?" and I responded that I wanted to purchase a hot cocoa for the volunteer. After asking how much I owed, he smiled and said "This one is on the house".

I love nice people being nice.
