Let me back up and say first of all, Hitler's Government was a totalitarian and Centralist Government. The CSA stood for states right and non-centralist government... your analogy is completely irrelevant.
You talk like the CSA was the government that brought the slaves over. The US government allowed it to go on until 1863, yet the CSA was in place in 1861, meaning that it was taking place
LONG before the CSA was even considered.
I don't have any problem with anybody flying the confederate flag, as it is part of our national history. If a German wanted to fly a Nazi flag because of it's history, power to him. Although, it is a felony in Germany to fly anything that has to do with Nazi symbolism. However, as far as I am aware, there aren't any laws prohibiting the Confederate flag being flown, unless it's on public property. Either way, that's up to the individual to decide for themselves, just like you have decided to hate the Confederate flag and everything you
think it might stand for. As much as you might not agree, there is plenty of proud heritage in the Confederate flag.
TL;DR
It's a flag...dyed material, sewn together with thread. It's an inanimate object, nothing more, nothing less. What you think it symbolizes is your opinion and completely subjective.
