Is there any evidence that this is just an emulation system?

Ninja Master's is apparently being released as a physical game. I hope to see more physical games follow shortly after. Even if this has a small SNK-centric library like the NGPC I'll be happy.

It's been mentioned in a couple videos. Emulation or not, this is too awesome to pass up; I've placed my preorder with Best Buy as GameStop is no longer taking them.

Well the system is still just emulation no matter if they put the rom on those little cards are not.

No matter how you slice it the technology behind it isn't $200 worth; or at least I can't find the cost compared to similar tech out there.

Really curious how this sells and what the price point looks like in a couple of months. There is obviously some demand at $200 (if GameStop stopped taking orders) so interested to see the figures once released.

Artificial demand! I love it. Interesting to watch.

Artificially inflated prices on the secondary market... the fate of all Neo Geo hardware.

I asked Santa for the Neo Geo X Gold, and am hoping he'll deliver. This is a system I won't drop my coin on, as it's probably $25 worth of plastic but as someone who as always wanted an AES, this will do. I'm also excited about having a portable neo geo, and yes I know I could emulate the games onto a DS, or possibly even a GBA, but I like the "real" deal.

lame
Two weeks is better than two months, don't you think?
Yeah it's not a huge deal, I just wanna get it already. I haven't wanted a handheld in a long time. The psp/vita, 3ds, etc aren't as interesting to me.

I hope there isnt price gouging going on with this once its out, I really want to pick it up, but am unsure when I will be able to do so, as I just dropped major coin on my Wii-U. I kept thinking about pre-ordering, but put it off, now I am thinking I should have jumped on it. I honestly thought it would not be an issue, and these wouldnt sell too well.
