Oh you made that. While I didn't need much help with it, I saw that guide a while back and thought it was good. Nice work. :)

DIOS MIOS will soon have multi-disc support!

Not only that, but it can seamlessly swap out discs without you ever having to do anything.

Very cool stuff! I'm always impressed with this project and its ability to constantly show case new technical achievements, most of which were thought impossible till now.

Cool stuff. I have to get around to trying this out. Been too lazy and end up just using my GC. It would be cool to be able to store my GC games away.

I honestly don't use my GC anymore. Since the Wii is 100% compatible with the GC library.
I always think of the Wii as a continuation of the GC. Essentially a GC at heart, but expanded upon and ironed out.

Plus, add homebrew like this and the Wii becomes the definitive GC :)

I can't for the life of me figure this out.

I have got as far as installing the DIOSMIOS 2.5 wad, using DiscEX, and putting the resulting game in with the other Wii games (The Legend of Zelda - The Wind Waker [GZLE01]). It shows up (and downloads covers) in GX but whenever i try to play it i get sent all the way back to Wii system menu.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Tried USB Loader GX 3.0 r1204 .. same thing. I should note that the HDD is fat but all my games are in a folder with the tittle wbfs. If i put them in game or games USB Loader GX sees zero games. Which i always thought was odd.

You need to make a folder named "Games" on the root of your USB drive and place them all in there. Then make sure that the main GameCube path in USB loader GX's "Custom Paths" settings is set to "USB1:/Games/".

You will also need the latest source build of USB Loader GX, r1204.

As stated above.. I'm using r1204 and if i put games in anything other then a folder with the tittle wbfs, GX sees nothing. I have always thought it was fucking weird, but, it's been this way ever since i switched from CFG USB Loader

Edit: Tried butting the GC game in 'games' and it showed up this time. However, now when i try to start it, It just shuts down the Wii altogether lol

EDIT2: OK now i get a DIOS MIOS flash screen but its doubled (side by side) and frozen hehe

EDIT3: Fucked around with it for hours and finally get wind waker to boot. Start a new game, enter name .. gamecube "error has occurred .. blah blah" .. Guess i'll have to mod another cube. Fuck this shit lol

Wind Waker works perfect for me.
Are you using the DMToolbox that comes with DIOSMIOS 2.5? Using the old DiscEX might not work with Wind Waker.

Just start up DMToolbox and keep the format as RAW and make the output path the games folder on your USB drive, then click install.

Hope that helps!

I think its working now. I reinstalled DM with Wad Manager instead of Multi Mod Manager.
