A Wiimote and nunchuk cost more than $50 new. I suppose the systems could get that low but I think not for a bit.

I'm not interested in getting one, but I agree with AppleQueso, that thing looks sleek as hell.

I'm confused. No internet? No Gamecube games? Canadian exclusive? What target audience are they marketing too!? Why is this a good idea?

I guess it'll become a valuable collectors item in about 15 years. It also looks neat.

Games are quite expensive in Canada if memory serves right.

So they made an inexpensive console to help alleviate this issue?

I somewhat want to get one for collecting reasons, but $99 when you don't have a job is a bit high. Also, the gas to drive to Canada would kill me.

Plus, Wii U is BC, so...

Shit, for $100 I'd buy it. But it's really not something I'd need at all seeing as I rarely play my other Wii. It does look kinda awesome though.

that guys link didn't work for me.

I'm in mexico.

I also believe that its gonna become rare and collectible like the GBA Micro.

Nintendo is probably clearing out their warehouses of Wii parts (from suppliers) to make this mini wii.

This buzz over the mini is the kind of stuff Nintendo likes and knows us fans will clamor over it.

I'm worried that Nintendo is dying, and they've decided to pull cheap tactical crap like the Wii Mini to stay in business. These new consoles will not drown them in money like the previous ones did. They need to do something quick, before they lose everything. Now, I know everyone disagrees with this, and that's because of Nintendo's extremely strong franchise. But if the platform dies, and Nintendo runs out of resources to create a new one, they will suffer through what happened to Sega.
