It looked fun but I think I'd enjoy it more with a keyboard/mouse so I'll probably get it on PC when it's cheap enough.

Just got NSMBU and Sonic Racing Transformed. Hope a few of us can play later.

Got a Deluxe tonight - all the Targets around me had them in stock (did a store search online). Called over and sure enough, they had two basic and two deluxe consoles when I got there.

I bet after today this isnt the case anymore due to black friday and all. Speaking of which, I scored a free copy of New Super Mario Bros. U from Old Navy of all places. Their deal was spend $40 and get the game for free, and my Wife didnt have any objections getting clothes lol.

^ I figured they would be non-existent as well but saw some tweets around GameStop being fully stocked with PS3 and 360 bundles flying off the shelves. Surprising.

Bought one on Fri and its been fun. It does need more original software though. Something that really shows the strengths of the controller and hardware.

Decided to peek on craigslist to see what people are trying to sell these for. There are the normal overpriced "rare, cant find in stores!" posts with basic sets around $400, and the deluxe at 450 and higher, but obviously not selling. But then, there are posts selling for what it would cost at retail including tax, so I think people realized that there was not the demand for these like it was for the Wii, or even the PS3 (Remember when those were selling for like $1000?)

Yeah we actually had someone bring a basic back to my store for a return, never opened and not even removed from the bag (or so he claimed, hard to check the second one). Either he found a deluxe a few days later or as the two of us working suspected he was a re-seller and couldn't find a buyer at double the price. The systems are scarce but not impossible to find this time.

I ended up selling my extra on CL. I only asked for $400 but since I bought it in a tax free state it was $50 profit. I had preordered it in case my brother in law wanted one for his family but he didn't so I just threw it on there to see what happened and if nothing I was going to return it. The lady that bought it was pleased. She seemed like a busy woman and told me her son wanted one and she didn't have time to hunt one down. Originally when he told me he didn't want it I figured it could help cover the cost of mine but they aren't going high. Fifty bucks is fifty bucks though.

But yeah. I don't think anyone out there is going to be making crazy money on them unless they bought a lot of them and are selling them at $50 or so over a pop.
