Just realized I've got a pretty decent cartoon/anime dvd box set collection going on now. It's the vast majority of my current DVD collection. Replaced most of my live action stuff with blu ray.

Political correctness on the language is like creationism. Everyone says you shouldn't believe the only people who have studied the topic because they must be biased if they disagree.
And it pains me because I care about the language. The RAE (Royal Academy of Spanish) did an article criticizing several "antisexist language" guides for, well, not making any sense and explaining the proper working of the language.
Cue "HUR DURR, SEXIST ACADEMICS", which, of course, includes the female academics who apparently don't count as women or shouldn't be listened to.
Really, all this debate can be boiled down to this phrase:
"You shouldn't say niggardly because it has nigger in it"
