I'm on the ninth or tenth level of Hotline Miami. Shit, it's hard.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Anyone know if there are any scans of Tandy Color instruction booklets online?
I was given a stack of free games, but many of them can't be played because I lack the "access code" (I'm guessing that's some sort of copy protection thing).
Oh and I'm really bumming because the absolute coolest looking games won't load at all.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Do any of you guys limit yourselves in gaming? As in, you choose to stick with certain companies, or certain genres, etc? As I'm getting older, I'm finding more that I just want to fall back onto Nintendo and not worry about other companies as much. Its seems easier, and a way to keep the rest of my life in focus and not get too game addicted. Sega is another company I'd like to look into, seeing they're dead and all.
But PS2 has so many games... graaa.

Well, I commonly stick myself to fighting games, since I think no other genre compares to fighting games when it comes to learning curve and replayability.Forlorn Drifter wrote:Do any of you guys limit yourselves in gaming? Plus, I often think fighting games are pretty underrated, for I see a lot of noobs/button mashers making the characters and gameplay look boring.

I love how the missions in Thief sometimes don't go as planned with some cool twists. Getting sucked back into Thief II and totally loving it.

Yes and no. The vast majority of my collection is Nintendo, with a good amount of Sega thrown in for good measure. I do however have lots of other consoles by other companies, which I use to pick up games I'm really interested. I'm not sure I'll ever go mad collecting Playstation, XBox, 3DO or whatever, but if I have them to play the games I really want to, I'm happy.Forlorn Drifter wrote:Do any of you guys limit yourselves in gaming? You're still in high school, then? And you feel old? Enjoy it my friend. You're old enough to know some things, but still not adult enough to have major responsibilities like rent, marriage, or kids. One day you'll look back and realize how fun and carefree those days were.Forlorn Drifter wrote:You know what I meant.
