Clean, working Master Systems seem to be tough to find cheap- at least that's been my experience. I overpaid for the games. 2 were $10 each and 2 were $15. It was an impulse buy but I'm still okay with it since they were all complete and in excellent condition. I don't like the idea of paying more than $10 for a SMS game generally but the owner through in a small stack of cheap Dreamcast and oXbox games in for free.

There's certainly a market for SMS games and consoles. If you find the stuff dirt cheap like you did, yeah, you can definitely turn a profit if you want to sell them.

No Black Friday deals...just cheap games at a local store:

The Getaway: High Speed II (GB; cart) - $3
Ninja Boy 2 (GB; cart) - $3
Klax (GBC; cart) - $3
Jazz Jackrabbit (GBA; cart) - $3
Tetris Worlds (NGC; complete) - $5
HSX: Hypersonic.Xtreme (PS2; complete) - $3
Star Wars Racer Revenge (PS2; complete) - $3
Under the Skin (PS2; complete) - $5

I had never heard of HSX, but it looks pretty good. I am most excited about Jazz Jackrabbit, however.

Part of the small business saturday went down to the local game store picked up a few things, it was B2G1:

Bible Buffet - $30 Getting closer to a complete set of Wisdom Tree games (don't ask me why.)
Shadow Dancer: The secret of Shinobi - $2.50
Ex-Mutants - Free

Also got a random controller that was traded in, it is a bright blue NES controller called the Zipper made by Beeshu.

As part of a friend moving and clearing out his old stuff:

Dreamcast with two controllers and box
Soul Calibur (complete)
Mortal Kombat Gold (complete)
Gauntlet Legends (missing manual)
Speed Devils (complete)
NFL2k (complete)
NBA2k (complete)

Also received boxes for Three PS3 systems, One Xbox360, Wii, and some gameboy advance games.

This does not need a new thread. There is already a thread for this sort of thing (http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=10186).

Also, did you get a deal on this stuff at all? What did you pay for this stuff? Where'd you get them from? Pictures with no story are... just pictures of console that anyone with an internet connection and a credit card can buy (and apparently a cheap way to plug your website I guess). If you just bought this stuff on eBay or YA or whatever, why would you buy a Mark II over a Mark III or a JP SMS?

I paid $80 each at a game store in PA. So i avoided the shipping fees all together. The games where thrown in and i also got Safari race with the sg-1000 II. The disc system was suppose to be nonfunctioning on the twin famicon which actually worked when i got it home.

It's not everyday you come across these systems.

That's not in every Master System unit. Some have Hang-On/Safari Hunt built in, some have Alex Kidd in Miracle World built in (I think the model 2 does? or at least some of the model 2s?), and some have NO built-in game.

I think Snail Maze might be the most common.

I had the morning off so I went round the markets. Picked a ZX Spectrum with joystick, PSU, joystick adapter and a box of games for 5 euros. It powers up ok but all I don't know if it works properly or not. There is no tape player to load the games and I don't think I will bother to get one. I just got it because it looks really cool so I will keep it on my shelf. The joystick on the other hand is awesome. It uses microswitches, works perfectly and feels much better to use than any Atari/Commodore joystick I have. The games are probably going to get thrown away except for the few original ones that there are.
Also picked up 3 complete PS2 games for 10 euro total and some ex-rental DVDs for 1 euro each.
