what type of television do you play your classic consoles on

I wish I owned that nes tv from colortime rental. I know it had two black nes controllers and you put the nes games in front. My friend had it. I was soo mad at the time. Mike was the kid who got everything once it came out. Nes,SMS,Genesis,SNES, etc

I'm playing on a Sony PVM2030 and my room mate's crappy 42" Sharp LCD TV. I am going to migrate more of my consoles over to the PVM.

The Sony PVM-20M2MDU I bought got here today. And holy wow, the immediate difference in picture quality between this and my last CRT is mind blowing.

27" Sony Trinitron Wega, Manufactured in 2004. I appreciated that it was a relatively new CRT. Picked it up for 40 bucks on craigslist.

I knew these were good TVs, but damn. Believe the hype, folks. even the Composite hookups look great. Got the Xbox and a modded Neo on Component. Everything else on the cart is S-Video (except the guncon hookup which is composite)

I spent some time looking for this cart, because half of this TV's time is going to be light gun related. I wanted a comfortable height for standing (using guncon pedal).
This also makes it easy to roll in front of my couch, then wheel it out of my way when I want to use my LCD TV. Downside to this particular model is only 1 component input and 1 S-Video (hence the switchboxes)

Component is on the verge of looking too obnoxious, it's so vivid. My "older" old school stuff is on a Toshiba, on another rolling cart. I'll be swapping it out with another trinitron soon.

I play all my games on my 48" LED LG 1080P TV now. For shame I know. I like the look of clean pixels though and don't have room for multiple TVs in my room. I often play systems with adapters and such via emulation so that it looks better. My Wii with component cables playing SNES games looks great whereas if I plug in my SNES it doesn't look as good.

I plan on getting one of those too. I figured it was either that or a video encoder (to use JAMMA boards, and/or the MVS that I want to get). I couldn't bring myself to spend money on a board to downgrade my video quality for arcade games, when the PVM seems like a much more worthwhile and fun investment.

Currently I have 3 CRT TV's and 3 CRT VGA monitors. The best of the monitors is a 21" trinitron. Luckily, all 3 of my CRT TV's have s-video and component video inputs, and display very good pictures from those sources. I just recently got a HD TV, and the only thing hooked to that is my 360.

Well I decided to upgrade from my old 27 inch Sony Trinitron that I bought back in 1998 with only composite inputs to a Sony WEGA 27FS120 with all 3 required inputs for retro gaming (component, composite and S-video) and overall I'm very pleased with the image.

Took the consoles out of storage ( NES SNES ) and GOD,, I forgot how scan lines looks on a SD set...at first the lines bothers me alot but then I got used to it and the games looks much better than my XBR6 LCD panel. For XBOX and PS2 the games looks perfect, I hate how the games looks on my 3 LCD's TV and only play XBOX games if they are compatible on the 360.

Already went to the service menu and applied the RED PUSH fix but haven't played with the geometry yet, because I'm not that picky but it does have some over scan issues.

My question is which mode most of you guys use ?

I reset my user settings to defaults, then just use the "pro" setting for my adjustments.
