Gah, I hate travel woes. I hope that this hasn't affected your outlook--but I hope your flight arrives safe and you enjoy your Thanksgiving.

Smile: B/S/T - My auctions all sold well. Netted $60ish dollars for the items I had.
Frown: I still have $300 or so dollars from an ultrasound I had--even with health insurance.
Smile: Heading to girlfriend's family's tonight and staying until Friday. Looking forward to not working for a few days!

Smile: My mom bought me and my wife airplane tickets to visit them this Thanksgiving as an early Christmas present.

Frown: She didn't buy the tickets she and I talked about on the phone, and instead bought the cheapest tickets possible, so now we have to leave for the airport at 4:00am, which is WAY earlier than we are accustomed to waking up. This also means we have to leave before the busses run, so we have to pay for parking, and it's not the airline we usually take, so we will also be paying for baggage check. And my mom also cut our stay short to further save on ticket prices. Oh, and my wife and I aren't sitting together the entire trip because the cheap flight didn't have any paired seats left.

I want to be grateful, but I really would have preferred to have just paid for the tickets myself to have a better flight and a longer visit. :?

I fully support the need to be lazy on occasion.

That said, you might want to make sure you Lysol everything you've sat on/touched before she gets home.

 very shitty day got nothing acomplished my knee is tweeked to the point it is causeing me to stumble . i am supossed to spend friday shopping with foxhounds family and i move this weekend. I ordered what i thought was the n64 bit to open games instead i got the one for systems which i already got 2 of so i ordered the correct one now have to wait 6 days to get the other one. And i have a open dispute from some idiot on ebay wanting his money back for a jaguar that was sold untested as-is for parts he emailed me saying he opened it and it was broken
Wtf if i didn't have to move this weekend i would drive to his house and take a bar of soap and a pillowcase and beat the s--t outta him for being stupid. I can't wait till tommorrow i get to spend most my day with 19 other ppl god i miss the days when i could just avoid everybody on holidays and set around in my drawers getting drunk and havinga tv dinner hanging out with my dog.

And I would not blame you if you did. Some people just deserve to be smacked on principle.
