Anyone else seeing tons of Wii-U's on the shelf so far? Every retailer around me has roughly 7-10 still in stock, not to mention that when I went to pick up my Persona 4 Golden today my local Gamestop told me that roughly 60% of their pre-orders for the system were 'no-shows', and they have been calling up their stores waitlist, only to find that almost all their wait lists have found the console at other retailers.

Aside from being sold out online, any else's cities actually sell out of Wii U's?

Might be where we live (Nintendo of America's HQ is in Redmond) and therefore a more aggressivelly stocked area?

Guess so, didn't think that really mattered as the hardware is manufactured elsewhere. Like during the Xbox 360 release, I couldn't find a unit in stores for the longest time, despite Microsoft being a local company.

I wish Amazon would get some in stock so I don't have to go to a physical store.

Dealing with people is a chore. I would totally agree, except I get points at BB.

Was anything ever reported about Amazon's beef with Nintendo over the Wii launch? I thought that was why they were not selling the Wii U consoles.
