Wii-U thoughts so far

So how are the reviews and first impressions of the WIi U ?
People like it? Not like it? do not care? more excited for ps3 releases?

I personally can't wait until the next PS3 release myself.. Not sure if Niode approves though..

Anyone else seeing tons of Wii-U's on the shelf so far? Every retailer around me has roughly 7-10 still in stock, not to mention that when I went to pick up my Persona 4 Golden today my local Gamestop told me that roughly 60% of their pre-orders for the system were 'no-shows', and they have been calling up their stores waitlist, only to find that almost all their wait lists have found the console at other retailers.

Aside from being sold out online, any else's cities actually sell out of Wii U's?

Guess so, didn't think that really mattered as the hardware is manufactured elsewhere. Like during the Xbox 360 release, I couldn't find a unit in stores for the longest time, despite Microsoft being a local company.

Was anything ever reported about Amazon's beef with Nintendo over the Wii launch? I thought that was why they were not selling the Wii U consoles.
