i didn't like wow. i enjoy ffxi a lot. and pso.

am i the only one on earth who thinks that you should only have to pay for a game once? am i cheap? no, i just dont think paying 10 or 15 dollars a month for the same game is worth it.


WOW guys and gals, please dont kill me, i know there are lots of yall out there lol.

So, at least for the case of WoW, when you pay your monthly fee, you pay for:

• Server upkeep (much more strain on these servers than on the Battle.net servers)
• In game GM support (for things like harassment, lost loot due to a bug/server crash, etc)
• Continuous content development (after Vanilla and TBC released, there were an additional 4 raids and a few dungeons added after launch)

The first point could definately be accomplished with a smaller fee, but it's the third point that I feel I really get my money's worth with.
