I wonder what happened. I mean, the series has been pretty profitable as I recall.BoringSupreez wrote:I've come to the conclusion that HL2: Ep3 simply isn't happening. It's been so long since any new info has come out on it.

Seeing what a huge success Duke Nukem Forever was, Valve decided that they don't care even if it takes them 10 years to develop the next Half Life game.BoringSupreez wrote:: I've come to the conclusion that HL2: Ep3 simply isn't happening. It's been so long since any new info has come out on it.
I think that they'll just release Half Life 3 next and what ever story episode 3 was supposed to tell will be included in that game.
I think it will be a nearly impossible task to actually do again what they did with Half Life 2.

They're finally working on a new engine. They'll showcase it with Half-Life 3.

Smiled - Have a dozen solid looking houses lined up for us to go through
Ticked - Cant look at any of them until next week due to some sort of holiday...
Smiled - Going to drive by my favorite of them today on the way home and see how bad off it is. Its alittle higher than I would like for the condition it is in, but it would take my drive to work to 30 minutes, from the 80+ minutes it is now.

Never underestimate the value of short commute. I live only a few minutes from my office, and that fact allows me to spend more of my time both working and enjoying myself.fastbilly1 wrote:Smiled - Going to drive by my favorite of them today on the way home and see how bad off it is. Oh I dont, 30 minutes is a short commute. In Atlanta I lived 18 miles from the office and it took me an hour or so to drive it every day. So 30 minutes is awesome. the best part is that the wifes commute will be about 20 minutes, instead of an hour. So we will be much happier people.prfsnl_gmr wrote:Never underestimate the value of short commute. I seem to remember that you put in an offer on a short-sale. What happened with that one?fastbilly1 wrote:Smiled - Have a dozen solid looking houses lined up for us to go through

Bank went with first offer, even though their offer was 6k less. Our agent thinks it was a person who either works at the bank or is friends with their shortsale agent, since they got the paperwork going within minutes of it being on the market and the offer and counter offer happened the same day. She said we could have an investigation done, but it could take two years and then we still might not get the house. So we just let it go.gtmtnbiker wrote:I seem to remember that you put in an offer on a short-sale.
