It was a good episode, I liekd the format. Would be worth doing a few series retrospectives like this every so often, but perhaps not all the time? I always like variety!

Gotta agree with Dave on DD Neon though - that is one ugly ass game.

Hate to disagree with Nintendo Dave there, but Super Double Dragon was the only rental that I played once and brought back to the video store. It wasn't half as good as 1 & 2 on the NES.

I'd love to get Double Dragon Advance but being an Atlus-published title, it's rare and expensive.

also tell Dave, i made it to the last level of Double Dragon III for NES when i was young...and the showdown with the last boss is the only thing from the game that made me want to pull out my hair.

Yeah we didn't want to cover fan games with Mario characters in it. If we did then we'd have to cover every Sonic hack or homebrew when talking about Sonic.
