Yeah, especially when they're paying customers. You can disagree without being a jack-ass about it. They've practically just come out and called some people stupid.

Picked up my deluxe Wii U after a long day of camping at my local Meijer store.

Ended up grabbing it along with three games: New Super Mario Bros U, Scribblenauts Unlimited, and Black Ops II (four games I guess, counting pack-in Nintendo Land).

Not much to say as of yet as I was downloading the required update but I did get a small bit of game time in. Impressions:

Nintendo Land: I've tried both Takamaru's Castle and Zelda Battle Quest so far. Takamaru is addicting for sure, and the multiplayer mode on Battle Quest is pretty awesome.

Scribblenauts Unlimited
: Definitely the most polished Scribblenauts game. Engine is endless as ever and the game looks great, essentially looks like a cartoon. Love the ease of using the GamePad for Scribblenauts, just like the DS games.

Call of Duty Black Ops II: I've never been one for Call of Duty but I will admit I do enjoy the multiplayer mode occasionally, and my friend and I decided to grab it on Wii U due to the really awesome ability to play with one player on the TV and one only on the GamePad. It's so ridiculously cool to play a full console FPS on what feels like a handheld.

Sadly I have yet to delve into New Super Mario Bros. U but I have been hearing great things and I'm saving it for a time when I've got a solid time block free to play it (upcoming Thanksgiving break seems like as good a time as any).

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who loves the Nintendo e-Reader.

I'm learning to make chiptune music in my spare time :P Check out my Soundcloud!

Glad to hear Scribblenauts Unlimited is good. I played heck out of Super Scribblenauts. I look forward to a new playground and toy-box to play with.

I'm hearing a lot of good things about Nintendo Land. But from what I can see, it doesn't look all that appealing to me. Maybe it's just one of those things that you don't get until you play it.

I have NSMBU, Tank x3, Sonic Racing and I bought Mighty Switch force Hyper Drive from the eShop.

I've only spent a little bit of time on each so I can't give a good impression of them really. NSMBU is really nice looking as is Mighty Switch Force. As for the ME3 port being sub-par I have to believe that is on Bioware or whoever they had do the port. Isn't the Wii U supposed to be more powerful than either the 360 or PS3? If that is the case then the console should have no problem running the game. Same can be said for the other ports. I've heard BOPS2 runs just fine. Is that not the case? I am hoping for good 3rd party support but if not then I am still alright with that. My list of Wii games to get is decently long so I suspect that whatever happens there will be good games to play on the Wii U. I am hoping another S&P gets made or console versions of Etrian Odyssey and the like. It seems like it would make for a good dungeon crawler console with the dual screens. I also don't expect every game to make use of the touch screen with some games being fully playable with just the Pro Controller.

Anyhow, I've only played around 5 levels of Mario and I am enjoying it so far. I haven't played the 3DS 2D Mario so I have no idea how they compare. Mighty Switch Force looks crisper than any game I have seem before. I don't care too much about graphics though so that alone is not an endorsement from me. I only played the first two stages and I also never played the handheld version of that game either. Nintendoland seems pretty fun to me but I have only played alone and I imagine some of it would be a blast with local multiplayer. I haven't used chat and I don't have any Nintendo Network friends yet nor have I played a game online with anyone so I can't comment on any of that stuff. So, yeah, my post is basically worthless. :D

I guess I'll give more of an impression after I play around some more and use more of the features.

Nope. It's a "Cannot connect to server" issue. Starts to download for a few seconds then gives me the error.
