I agree. I've had strep throat/throat infections several times. Doctor will likely listen to you breathe, feel your lymph nodes on your neck to see if they're swollen, and maybe take a swab in your throat and culture it. If it is strep or an infection you'll get antibiotics to take for 10 days.
I considered that, but its too far down my throat to be strep. The area is around the middle of my breast bone, or somewhere there abouts. More than likely I scratched it or something, but I'm tired of it after a week or so.

Best to get it checked out just in case. No one likes going to the doctor, but if it is something more serious it's best to catch it early.

And on the off chance that your Alien scenario plays out, I'm sure the doctor will do the humane thing and put you out of your misery now before it, you know, bursts through your breastbone during dinner or something.

Pissed: I am trying to leave for Thanksgiving Break, but have not been successful so far. Every time I have tried to use the airport in my town, something has gone wrong. I thought I may actually have been able to take the flight that I payed for, but that would be far too reasonable to be true. THIS IS THE HOUGHTON AIRPORT, AND WE DON'T KNOW OUR HEADS FROM OUR ASSES! This seriously pisses me off. The plane breaks down at the last minute, and they have to fly in an engineer from out of state to fix it. Bullshit. Utter bullshit. All I want to do is have a nice vacation with my family, but apparently, that is out of the question. I have been waiting months for a vacation, and I will be DAMNED if I don't leave this worthless backwater town in a matter of hours. Fuck.

Ouch that sucks. They don't have you locked on the plane do they? Getting trapped on a plane before take off makes any flight seem to take twice as long.

Hope everything works out for the breast.

Beef liver...

Onion + garlic + bacon + liver + spices...

Funny detail: I bought the liver from a halal butcher... ><

Nice. I have never made that before. You will have to let me know how it tastes. My wife occasionally makes Pate de Campagne:

http://www.bonappetit.com/recipes/2009/ ... e_campagne

which, honestly, smells like cat food but tastes AMAZING (especially if it is accompanied by good bread, mustard, cornichons, and wine). Also, pate freezes very well; so, if you make more than you need you can easily freeze it for later use.

In any event, I was curious because pate de foie gras is one of my very favorite foods, but it is generally unavailable in the States. I also - most unfortunately - generally object to the way it is cultivated on ethical grounds. (If only it didn't taste so good...) Regardless, if you were making some of that, I might have tried to trade you games for it.
