Anybody else not get into online gaming?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

um imo PC online gaming rocks (wow, team fortress, red alert2, unreal tournament 2004 all just rock) but yeah console play kind of misses the point. the only good multi player is with theo ther next to you. I think it's boring playing with people across the globe

Holaback,

Take a timeout. Calm down. Give yourself a chance to sober up... don't want to say anything you'll regret later.

On subject matter, I'm not an FPS fag but I am a strategy fag.
Frankly, I don't mind wether a game has online play or not; however, it's a bonus to have the choice. Other than hackers and other sorts of bad company, there isn't a good reason to detest online play - if it is just the hackers and bad sorts, then you can feel free to open your own server and lock it so only you and a select few of people can play on it. It's just convenient on days where for some reason or another you or a friend can't or don't much feel like coming out, but can still play together.

yeah online play is not bad as i said, i just don't understand why people ditch the Wii for lack of good online play. and multiplayer in the same room is better than online play anyday. that's why people go to internet cafe's to play games even when they have a pc and broadband at home

also i like how all console gamers think there trulle are only 3 type of games on the pc. cause consoles differ so much nowdays. 3rd person action games that come out on pc FPS and the only real advantage they have is j rpgs and nintendo.
