Sorry to burst your bubble, but doesn't modern day Wii and PS2 emulation still suck?

It's a lot better than you might expect. Been a while since I've messed with it but I was pretty impressed.

With a relatively beefy PC, ps2 emu on pcsx2 is fine, bar a few of the more graphically advanced games such as tekken 5, which run fine but have several horizontal black lines, which apparently can be dealt with but I haven't figured out how yet. I have a PS1 and used to have a ps2, but actually prefer emulating both systems as I like playing them through hdmi and like the fact that I no longer need to deal with memory cards.

Haven't tried emulating wii, but heard a beefy PC has no trouble running the dolphin emulator, only the wiimotes can be tricky to set up, but a bit of googling provides plenty of guides.

I forget which emu I have for tg16 and pcengine, starts with M, rarely play it as I never had exposure to TG16 as a kid. Will check the name of the emu tomorrow.

Has anyone tried "fixing" the standard 360 d-pad? The Chrome one is just too expensive.

This site is in Japanese. Am I going to be able to read the option menu and what not for this emulator?

Ootake is very easy to use, you won't have a problem with it.

Cool, I downloaded it but I'm not positive on how to use it. Do I need to get Bios for it like Sega CD emulators and what not? If so, where do I put them?

You might want to try EmuCenter as well, if simplicity is what you're after http://emucenter.2.free.fr/website/view ... ?page_id=3

I'm not 100% sure of the TG16 emulator, I want to think it's called "magicengine" I could be completely wrong. I will check when I get home.

As far as ps2 and Wii emulation, both are pretty good as long as you have a gaming quality PC. I have a pretty good setup and seeing GC and PS2 ran at 1080p with anti-aliasing turn up all the way along with the various other filters you can add make those games look so good you won't believe your eyes. LoZ: Twilight Princess looks stunning. I never thought that game could look that good. But, like has been mentioned before, some game's dont run and other's have some problems. But, the emulator are constantly being tweaked and upgraded so they will get better over time.

Here is the thing regarding MAME and the fight sticks. I'm not 100% sure about even running the emulator. I have tried in the past and have had such a hard time with it. I don't know if it's the fact that I just don't know what I'm doing or if it's really that tough of an emulator, but I can never get more than a couple games to work. I would love for someone to point me towards a MAME for Dummies type tutorial because I need it.
