I Can't Trust Relatives Not To Spam Me

My brother and I had issues with our parents sending us spam. We warned them that we weren't beyond blocking our own parents' e-mail addresses. Now we only get the occasional forwarded mess of nonsense.

Thank god my parents haven't figured out instant messaging...

One of my uncles does this, but my coworkers are the worst Ive seen yet. You would think after I called out all of their stories for well over a year they would stop sending them to me. However I did get them to start trading riddles instead of those cliche photoshop's weve all seen countless times.

I have more than three, but they all end up in the same place.
After all, what's the use of having different accounts if you aren't going to check them?

Thats what i did to a friend, and she got kinda hurt. She got over it and only sends me "real" emails.

The other terrible spam people send is text message forwards about some lame way to bring smiles to the ones you love. Come on, I do that when I actually call them, not send them something threatening to give you bad luck!

well i don't have to make threads like this one, for starters

i check them but i mainly just hit the "empty trash" button in one of them.

i hate this too. my mom and two of my aunts are horrible about sending chain letters, jokes, and religious crap. i went so far as to set up a seperate email address to give them and told them i changed my e-mail.

An old friend did this a lot back in high school, one day I forwarded like 20 of her emails back to her, she got upset for a while but got over it and stopped the spamming
