All I know about Black Swan is that it's about ballet and has a bunch of parallels with Perfect Blue.

The fact that Black Swan is ostensibly about ballet lends it this imprimatur of class that is otherwise completely unjustified. When I was watching it, I kept thinking that it was basically an early David Cronenburg film with higher production values and an A-list cast. It also has the long, lurid shots focused on the dancer's bodies that made me think of late-seventies slasher films for some reason.

Also, I have never had a crush on Natalie Portman. I am sure that she is perfectly nice, but to me at least, she is completely neutral.

Never seen Black Swan. It didn't interest me in the least. But I will marry Natalie Portman one day. Of course it will be after I've divorced Scarlet Johansson, Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway (in no particular order). But yeah, future wife.

I'm blaming the prequels on this one.

Yes, beauty is in the eye of the butt holder, but I find her beauty undeniable and irresistible. Then again, I also find Christina Ricci to be one of the better looking women in Hollywood. Maybe it's because of teenage crushes, maybe it's because I find them both unique and intelligent. Doesn't matter in the end, I'm still crushing on both.

She doesn't do it for me, either. Too stickly looking.

So. Darth Vader back from the dead huh? "In science fiction anything is possible" eh? I was really hoping the new SW movies would go in a different direction. Not the gavel has been banged, but I think we have a 90% chance of Vader coming back from the "dead".
