Ah, that was Adam Crowley on top of that burning building.

I'm pretty sure I beat him.

Loved that game. Limbs flying everywhere. Choppin' like a Master Chef... :P

This happens all too often for me, sadly.

The last battle of sonic rush, some boss in Tales of Symphonia, and countless other times when I just lost the motive to keep playing the game.

Super Meat Boy final level/boss. I have literally kept coming back to it for a year. I declare it unbeatable!

I recall Electro in Ultimate Spider-Man (PS2). You're stuck playing as Venom, which makes for a dull, clunky chase in the first half. The second, makes for a dull arena brawl that isn't so much difficult, as it is severely, and unnecessarily, prolonged. Taking out the billboards to cut off his source, protecting Spider-Man, finding more cars to throw when you've gone mad, whilst Electro is sapping Spider-Man, then you whittle him down, and he just finds that
billboard you missed. Every time, without fail.

I enjoyed the game 'til that point, and I lost interest to the extent I just moved on, procrastinating a return, which, of course, never came. I may go back to it at some stage, but there's so many other games that do a lot better with the amount of time and effort the Electro stage demands, that it's hard to get motivated.

Evil rugal in capcom vs snk 2 i mean holy shit this guy can easily wipe me out without letting me land a single blow. Seriously the most broken fight in any fighting game.

I dunno, maybe, I found him slightly less teeth-gnashing than Rugal's appearances in KoF '98 and '02. I can't speak for his outing in the original KoFs. Only slightly, though.

Shin Akuma in CvS2, however, annoyed the nut off me. It was almost Mortal Kombat in its levels of brokenness.

Yup, me too. Sorry for my poor wording. Original Rugal in CvS2 was fun, cause I could batter him about the place for all those holes he made me punch in the air with abject frustration.

There's at least a few games where I never beat the final boss. Mostly due to just losing interest since I know after I beat it I won't get more than a crappy cut scene. One is the final boss of Bomberman hero, not even sure what it is, I jus know I've never beat the game but I've played through it several times. The other is Sonic Generations. I just have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing, and it's honestly just not any fun.
