I'm thinking I'll probably pick this up. For me the only must have right now is Tank Tank Tank which no one else seems to have any interest in. I like arcade games though and it looks like lots of fun. Toys R Us is having a sale though so I'll most likely grab at least two game if not four. Depending when their Wii U games arrive they will either be buy 1 get one 40% off or buy two get $30 off. I took a season position at TRU for some extra cash too so I get a 10% discount on top of that so I'll get two games for $8x.xx.

I'm looking at ....

Tank Tank Tank
ZombiU
The Wonderful 101
and something else if I use the TRU deal.

I'll only have money for ZombiU at the start, but after that the new All Stars racing and NSMBU are on my list.

Tank Tank Tank certainly looks fun, but not $60 fun. Looks like it should be a download title.

I think it is $50 instead of $60. I'd rather have it on physical media personally but I could see it being a dl game. So I guess if I grab ZombiU and TTT they will cost me $72 which isn't bad.

So I was checking out the other games that will be coming out, and remembered hearing something about The Wonderful 101, just watched an extended gameplay video, and that one is a must buy for me, it looks like a blast! Too bad there doesnt seem to be a solid release date.

Yeah, that's the one I'm really interested in. I got to play the demo at PAX and it was a lot of fun. I almost beat the demo (it was time limited), but I noobed out on one of my damage reflect timings and the respawn time was enough to eat up the demo time. But I was still the furthest the rep had seen get up to that point that weekend.

I'm still undecided. Most impressions point to "buy" but I'm just not 100% convinced I'll like it...
I'm on the fence about ZombiU as well. Game has been getting some serious hype, but I'm not sure if it will live up to it. I'll wait for reviews to roll in before I make a decision.

Any news on whether or not the pro controller will be bundled with the console at launch? It's a deal breaker for me. not buying it till I can get the pro controller.

It wont be bundled, but you can buy it separately at launch.

Considering the big feature of the WiiU is it's gamepad, I'm curious to know your reasoning behind not buying it without the pro-controller. Everything I've read says the gamepad is incredibly comfortable.

Actually, the first Wii U review I saw from IGN for a launch game was Ninja Gaiden and the reviewer said it was much better to play using the pro controller.

Personally, this is another reason why I will not purchase this console. I hate the multiple controller-peripherals system. Very bad way to milk the consumer. My opinion of course, and I did mention this earlier

I am curious if the Pro Controller will be backwards compatible. Being that it is Nintendos bluetooth stack it is a possibility, though not likely. But perhaps the hackers can get us a CIOS that reads it like a Wiimote with Classic Controller connected.
