The last boss fight in Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero? It's fucking impossible.
Also, to answer that question... no, you can't be the hero.

I believe that I've mentioned this before, but I could never beat Ares in God of War on God mode. I got stuck on the part with the Kratos clones for like 3 hours and then I never touched the game again. The real reason that I quit is that that segment of the fight is just utterly broken.

The final boss of Arcana Heart on PS2...is it even possible? I suck at fighting games, but it seems like you have to be damn near elite to even have a chance against this bitch...

Last boss from Nightmare creatures, that guy is just too broken, there's no way to avoid taking damage.
Also the last boss from Silent bomber, I still haven't given up on that one though and I give it a try occasionally.

Re: Boss Battle You Could Never Beat
I finally beat this boss a couple weeks ago. I'll admit it was a stroke of luck I made it through the last criss-cross laser pattern. Very tough.BurningDoom wrote:Same here. I feel like I got close, but could never really pull it off. Eventually I just got overwhelmed by near-unavoidable lasers. Oh, and this is one of the Metal Slug games without arcade-style credits, so when you die you have to restart the battle.
I still haven't beaten the final boss in Saturn NiGHTS

...or the Robotnik in Sonic 4 Ep. 1

Re: Boss Battle You Could Never Beat
I honestly cannot think of one. All the ones I've ever had a hard time beating forced me to continue trying and replaying until I finally took them down.
EDIT: Pretty recently, I got defeated a few times by the final boss in The Misadventures of Tron Bonne. I have since started a few other games. I plan on going back to that very soon.

There have been a fair few, but the one that I most remember is the final boss in Max Payne 2 for the PC.
And that's because apparently by all accounts he's not really that tough to bring down.
But for me that sucker just wouldn't fall.

I could not fucking get past Odin in Final Fantasy Legend II for Gameboy.
Then somebody stole my game in elementary school and that was that. I never had the drive to get the game again and try to take my revenge.
