What was the last movie you've seen?

So. . . World War Z. Looks like everyone with a crowds of falling computer animated people fetish will be excited.

Don't forget the people who like Brad Pitt, long-jumping zombies, and that noise from Inception.Jrecee wrote:So. . . World War Z. Looks like everyone with a crowds of falling computer animated people fetish will be excited.

I just... I dunno. I know I'm gonna be in the minority again with this film, but hey we all have opinions, right? Here we go.
Garbage. Just like the first Not-Bond film, this one falls in line right behind Casino Royale (where we high rollers play Texas Hold 'Em! whee!!!)
I dont know if it was directed by the same guy as Not-Bond 1, but the direction was just awful. Action scenes were obviously not meant to be viewed by humans with eyes in their heads. Each shot didn't last more than half a second. The scene where Not-Bond and Random Evil Buscuit #346 are falling through a building and messing up the scaffolding, I have no idea what I witnessed until the scene ended. It was a complete mess.
Not-Bond is still his little emo self "oh boo hoo, my girlfwiend betwayed me and bwoke up wiff me and I still wuv her." And what was with the bad guy wanting water? Really dude? Water? AND YOU DRANK MOTOR OIL? My friend kept telling me that Bond was supposed to use his gagets and his car though out the movie. I saw one car chase (which was as confusing as the scaffold fight) and he had a 'nice' Sony Ericsson phone from 1976. Oh and I think I saw a handheld Sony Vaio (because those are completely relevant). It was awful and boring. If Skyfall is like this, I'll wait to pirate it a couple of years from now.

Those people should be ashamed of themselves.Michi wrote:Don't forget the people who like Brad Pitt, long-jumping zombies, and that noise from Inception.Jrecee wrote:So. . . World War Z. Looks like everyone with a crowds of falling computer animated people fetish will be excited.

It isn't. Not in the slightest (besides cast members).
Pack a lunch and go see SKYFALL. After the first half hour it slows a bit for another half hour, but the last four hours are damned near perfect.
edit* Guillermo del Toro to direct Justice League? Fine by me.

Did you really think I was suggesting the movie was five hours long?

I wasn't sure whether you meant to say half-hours instead of hours, or if you were giving a commentary. I see it was the latter.Luke wrote:Trust me, you'll feel like you are growing roots at points.BoringSupreez wrote: Umm, it's only 143 minutes?
