famicom controller help
famicom controller help
So i bought a famicom and the controller is junk, i had a dog bone with a crushed plug end and was wondering about just hardwiring it in. Are the wires used for the same thing, as in saying white with white extra, and is there any problems a may need to adress Any help would be great.
Re: famicom controller help
You could buy an extension cable and hardwire the dogbone controller to that.
The result would be a dogbone controller with a LOT of wire though

Re: famicom controller help
The real questions i have are do the colors wire colors match should i soder the wires by splicing or in to the plug.
Re: famicom controller help
I'd recommend posting this over on Famicom World. You'd probably have an answer pretty quickly.

Re: famicom controller help
This will help with the controller and what wires are what, but it only references the expansion plug on the Famicom so you'll probably need to find a diagram of which those are.
