I don't know why, but I really liked Shadow Hearts, although I do agree it was fairly average. The Legend of Dragoon "active turn based" style really pleases me.

I've been on an SNES/SFC kick for a bit now, and have been playing Secret of Mana. Just got the Mana Fortress to uncover itself, so I'm thinking it should be done tonight. Then time to find another awesome SNES/SFC rpg that I've yet to finish.

I've been bouncing around between quite a few, but I think I'm going to buckle down and try to finish Dungeon Siege III next.

aw crap...

I passed 54 hours in Xenoblade, and only now did I realize there's a map option that lets you fast travel between any location in the game

-_-

had I known that earlier, I woulda been playing a completely different game for the past 54 hours lol

Ouch. I am currently about 95 hours in myself. I would have given up by now if it weren't for instant travel to landmarks and Quick Step gems. I'm doing lots of quests and getting all the optional skill trees.

Minor spoiler about something I spent a lot of time on:
I spent many many hours getting the 7th character's intermediate arts manuals. Some of them can only be obtained from a Nopon (daytime) vendor in the rebuilt Colony 6. Everything I read said you just had to get Commerce to level 5. Well I did that and the merchant did not appear. I know for a fact that you have to get Housing at level 5 too. I am not sure about Nature and Special but I had those at level 4 before the Nopon (daytime) merchant appeared

I finished The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky last night. I have not played a RPG that had that good of a story in a really long time. Cliffhanger endings in RPG's with no sequel (translated in english as of yet) on a (most likely) end of life platform really does truly suck.

And Dungeon Siege III is done. I've since moved on to Phantasy Star Zero which is pretty fun. I've just been farming loot mostly, but it's pretty enjoyable. About the only thing in the game that is giving me grief is the camera, but slowly I'm learning to get used to it.

Hopefully XSEED will get around to re-releasing the game on Steam like they did Ys: The Oath in Felghana, and then move on and release TitS:SC and 3rd accordingly.

Have you played Seiken Densetsu 3? Doesn't get much better... although I prefer Secret of Mana in some regard, SD3 gameplay wise is absolutely better in every single way. Best battle system ever, I so wish more games of this kind and Evermore were made.

If XSEED does this then I may have to get a computer with Windows and a Steam account. I am not going to say any spoilers for anyone that has not played it yet. So many questions left unanswered by this ending. Excelent and very unexpeceted by me on the PSP.
