Samba de Amigo

Post by Blu »

I have the port of the game on the Wii. I am considering picking up the Dreamcast version, but is the game when played without maracas any fun?

No game - when played without maracas - is any fun.

EDIT: ...especially RPGs.

I think theres a sensor bar for the dreamcast. For when you Play Samaba de amigo.

I've seen the boxes before in the past, but never complete. I've seen them with just the maracas or just the sensor. I've also seen third party stuff.

I know I should buy them, by now I should have had it all by now if I did.

I'm not sure how it can play with just the controler.

I do own the Wii version as well. I find it okay. But others on the net have said that the wii game has bad response times with the wiimotes. I do notice it on some heavy moves on the songs. But it doesnt bother me too much.

If you like the Wii version, there are some Maraca adapters for them. I've seen some a toys r us a few years back. There should be some on line.

I played it a few times with just the controller and it was good fun and a nice addition to the collection, but once I got the maracas it became an absolute blast, and some of the goofiest fun I've ever had. Friends ACTIVELY demand that we "play the maraca game" whenever they come over.
