It is light, like crazy light. It also doesnt feel fragile like a cell phone or something, it could survive drops no problem. It felt very comfortable, the sticks were just like the ones on the Wii nunchuck but without the octagon shape. The "triggers" are not analogue like on the ps3 or 360, but feel really good.

The only playable demo they had was Rayman Legends, and it felt just like Rayman Origins, but not a bad thing. It looked great, super sharp lines and color, very nice to see HD from Nintendo. Part of the demo involved playing from the controller screen while the tv displayed the same thing, it was cool to see both being displayed with no lag, the screen on the controller is super sharp and looks very nice.

I had already wanted to get it for sure, but not getting to try it out makes me want one more.
You just made me want a Wii-U now...

I'm in agreement with you here. The image it puts out if very nice on both the tv and the tablet. The controller, besides being very light, also feels nice to hold and seems to be built kid proof. Like you said I bet this thing could handle being dropped no problem. I had already pre-ordered a couple systems before trying it out but getting to play it made me really excited for it. I'll be waiting at Walmart for the midnight launch for sure so I can get it home and try it out some more. I really think this system is going to provide a lot of fun.

Played it the other day at bestbuy and im sold. Nintendo feels like the Apple of video games to me. I love the design of the controller and the console, very simple and sleek.

Now just have to which color i want.....

I also thought the demo setup at Best Buy was enjoyable.

I saw a couple videos today that were similar to unboxing videos. Unless I overlooked this, it seemed like even with the black console, you still had a white HDMI cord and a white power cord. The machine also picked up EVERY fingerprint.

So it's like every glossy black electronic device ever.

So I haven't see a Wii-U yet, but as I was browsing around Walmart (looking for a demo unit. My hopes were too high) I noticed that the nunchucks were now in Wi- U packaging with a sticker on them that identified them as still "Wii Compatible." So I can confirm that at least the nunchucks will be getting shiny, new Wii-U packaging. They're using the same form and color scheme as the game box art.

So what are the controllers of this new device?
Is it the tablet or the Xbox like controller or the Wii-mote?

I thought it was Tablet+Wii-mote for 2->4 players , but a friend who is buying this one soon said its tablet+xbox-like controller

It supports all three of those, so it probably depends on the game as to which would be preferred.
