I'm sure this will piss off anyone who spent multiple hundreds of dollars obtaining their Genesis cart.

im pretty sure they already did when they re released it in a clamshell for just $50, thats when i bought mine, but im pretty sure the first print version will always be worth alot of money since its a very limited edition.

My strategy was to buy the first print version when it first came out, for the $60 or so they were charging.

Does anybody know if they're going to redo the character sprites? As they are they look kind of awkward against the new HD backgrounds.

I doubt that I'll be getting this since I've already got the Genesis version. While it feels a little cheap to see it as a download title (well, for someone that owns the original ), I am glad that they decided to make the game more accessible to everyone.

I am surprised they did not restock the Genesis Reprint version. It is sold out on the website. The DC version dose look tempting though.

I beat the Genesis version back in January (1st eddition) and I dropped $15 for the PC version of this HD project.
I would love a copy for the DC, but I can not afford it.

Sorry, Id much rather have this stay on Genesis.

I hope someone breaks into your house, gets hold of your Genesis copy of Pier Solar, uses it to punch your balls and leaves the premises with said cart.
