SNES Legend of Zelda- TOP SECRETS Messages from Sahasrahla
This may be a dumb post and I may just be an idiot, but I have never seen this little booklet before and was wondering if anyone had any info on it. I found this inside a game I bought at a flea market...and I found it on eBay, people are asking $50+ dollars for it. Now I know that means nothing, people can ask whatever they want for something that is worth nothing. So I am not saying it is uncommon or rare, just wanting to find out what it was originally shipped with...or if anyone knows more about it. Thanks!

I haven't seen that booklet since I was about 12 or 13 years old. But, I do remember that it shipped with ALTTP. I think it just gave you novice type tips. Stuff like blow up walls with cracks in it. But, the cool thing is that you can't have a complete ALTTP without that little guy

Really? I don't remember seeing this at all. Maybe it only shipped with some copies of LttP.Frag Mortuus wrote:I haven't seen that booklet since I was about 12 or 13 years old. My copy was a first run. I got it on the day it came out so it may have been something they later removed.Breetai wrote: Really? I don't remember seeing this at all. Maybe it only shipped with some copies of LttP.

Probably. The game was in print until 1998, long enough for E rated copies.

I'd played new copies in 1992 and 1993 and don't remember that booklet. Maybe it wasn't in Canadian copies?theclaw wrote:Probably. The game was in print until 1998, long enough for E rated copies.

Must have been the first thing people lost once they opened the box. It is strange I had a first run copy too and don't remember it but that's means nothing. You also don't see them much listed in auctions as part of ALTTP complete copy, unless maybe I haven't noticed. So maybe everyone is really selling incomplete copies

No idea. Most interesting Canadian copies are those French ones. Nintendo went through the effort to insert their translated dialog.

I still have mine! It's a sort of mini hint "book" - although hint pamphlet would be a better description. I don't remember there being any earth-shattering spoilers in there though. It was mostly little gameplay hints similar to what Sahasrahla would give you in-game.
I got ALttP for Christmas in 1993 when I was 11 years old. It's now in a drawer with all my other SNES manuals.
But geez... $50 for that? I wish I had a whole box of them!

I got my copy of LTTP in 92 or 93 and I still have mine sealed with that little gold sticker. 'Unopened' minty ones like that are probably only the only ones going for $50.
