It's a Marathon Infinity disc. Matches up with the one in the picture linked to here. Even besides that, the design matches what other Marathon discs look like (Marathon 2 was black and yellow, same half/half design) and the Infinity box was black and silver.Luigiman wrote:If it is, I wouldn't be able to tell, I'm a Windows person.Valkyrie-Favor wrote:Bungie released Marathon Infinity in 1996, exclusively for Mac. That's all right. They're DOOM ripoffs, actually pretty boring. If you were curious, there's a fan mod that makes it playable on windows, it's called Alpeh One. I don't know I remember that.Luigiman wrote:If it is, I wouldn't be able to tell, I'm a Windows person.Valkyrie-Favor wrote:Bungie released Marathon Infinity in 1996, exclusively for Mac. Don King Presents Prize Fighter and Beowulf for Xbox 360. $7.70 for both CIB. I have been buying a lot of crappy games lately, basically because they're cheap and in good condition. I wonder how many of these i will put more than 15 minutes into...

If you can't find an old imac to play that on, Marathon has been freeware for a while. I got a macbook back in 2008 and that was like the only game I played on it for months.isiolia wrote:It's a Marathon Infinity disc. Matches up with the one in the picture linked to here. Now for my story:
So I went to a thrift store for the charity Through Our children's eyes. They have creepy photos of kids eyes on a semi truck out front. The only place on the interwebs I can find a pic is on their facebook.

It was a half price day and it was busy. Saw the random sports titles with missing discs in the cd rack. Then saw Pokemon Colosseum (but it had mario kart in it instead
Here is the classic part: So while I was perusing the cd/dvd rack, this lady was having a conversation on the phone. Basically a third party had angered both her and the person on the other end. The lady in the store very loudly stated
It went on like that for 5 to 10 minutes. If you go and put a hurt on them. I'll bail you out. You know I ain't gonna have any money on monday so you are gonna have to do it today. I'm serious. If you beat them up, I'll bail you out.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Flea Market day! I only got one thing this time.....

but it's the rarest most valuable thing I've found in the 5 months I've been doing this!
THE SPACE ADVENTURE complete, mint, and it has the foam insert for $30! The reason they wanted $30 wasn't because they knew the value, but because they really wanted to sell their whole Sega CD/Genesis/32X lot, and didn't want to break it up. I offered $20, then $25, and the guy said $30. They wanted $300 for the lot, but all the other games weren't very rare aside from Time Gal complete in box.
Also, I just realized. There's no Sega CD "Rare and Valuable" article on RacketBoy. That needs to change.
