Im really tempted to pick this up but I'm going to have to wait for some feedback with how it upscales on an HD display and how good the emulation is. I'm thinking about putting the money that I would spend on this into a MVS-1 slot and a couple of games
Well that works out beautifully for me! Just had another big preorder have the date changed on me so pushing the Neo Geo X back till my next paycheque frees this one up for dumb toys! Yay This get's to be a belated Christmas Present to myself I guess.
I still don't see the appeal in this for the price. Outside of being a pure collectible there is nothing about this that is really better than emulating on your own.

Me too. If it was like 50 bucks then I'd be keen on it, but to me it seems like a sleeked up modded PSP. At least with a modded PSP you can play ALL of the NeoGeo games theoretically and not limited to playing the same 20 games that all over the place.
NES, SNES, PS1, N64, DC, PS2, GCN, Wii, PS3, 360, GB, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, PSP 3000, and 3DS XL
Yah but this has the stick and the neat docking console that hooks up to your tv! If you don't want to drop $200 for it then whatever. This is for dumb people like me who have the dough to spend and want the novelty of having something AES shaped hooked up to their TV without having to pay that AES money for a real one. Also it probably won't be JUST the same 20 games given the game cards. So long as SNK sees some money in it I imagine they'll put out some more of the library. Besides, I'm sure people will crack the thing and have it able to play their own roms within a month of it coming out. Probably won't even be that long.
