Anybody have it? I just picked it up and it is fucking amazing!!! If you don't know, this game focuses on the Attitude Era and a quote from THQ
" It was a time when Stone Cold Steve Austin battled for supremacy against his maniacal boss, Mr. McMahon. An era where The Rock told opponents to “know your role, and shut your mouth”, where the Undertaker threw Mankind off the top of the Hell in a Cell, and D-Generation X broke all the rules. Now, for the first time, relive this groundbreaking era in an all-new single player campaign mode that will make you experience the Monday Night Wars like never before."
Here is a link of the entire roster in the game
http://wwe.thq.com/roster

Reviews from the game have been pretty positive as well

EGM= 90
Gameinformer= 9.0/10 (They gave WWE 12 a 5.5 last year)
IGN= 84

A quote from Gameinformer that holds some truth to this game imo
"I’ve always pointed to 2000’s WWF No Mercy as the best wrestling game I’ve ever played, but nostalgia is certainly a factor in that. After playing WWE ‘13, I’m hard pressed to think of a more enjoyable and complete wrestling game in history."
I first became a fan of the WWF when I was about 9 years old back in 1997 so this era is very nostalgic to me. Getting to relive these great times again is really something special. I highly recommend this game for any old skool WWF fans or anybody that wants to enjoy a great wrestling game.

My copy arrives tomorrow, looking forward to the Attitutde Era stuff. I was 19-21 in the hey-day of N64 wrestling games and needless to say, put in a TON of hours.

I need to find the manual online - I didn't play much of WWE '12 (thought it was slooow) so not up on all the controls.

Yeah the first game I ever bought when I first got my N64 was WWF War Zone. Even though the game is really outdated now, I had a blast playing it back then. My favorite wrestling games of all timer were definitely WWF No Mercy and WCW/NWO Revenge. Playing those games back when I was in 4th grade was the greatest. :D

How are the controls and AI? Those are the things that have kept me away from the past two or three years of Smackdown games, unintuitive controls and cheap AI that is super aggressive and counters everything.

I realize I'm probably being overly dramatic here, but given WWE's ratings literally going down the toilet as the biggest, most mainstream wrestling promotion, is wrestling dying? I mean, people have been saying for ages now that it's not as big or as good as it was in the Attitude Era, but things looks pretty crappy at the moment. WWE's product gets worse year by year, and despite whatever we may hear, I honestly feel like NOTHING is changing. Every week is the same old shit. I don't feel like anybody over in the WWE is making ANY effort to improve the product at this point. And if Rybak is the best thing you can come up for a new star. WOW. He's actually WORSE than Cena. The guy can't promo for shit, and he's not amazing in the ring either.

At this rate, it seems like the Network, whenever the hell it ever becomes a reality (they keep pushing it back and making excuses) is going to be a huge flop, and maybe the last nail in the coffin for the WWE. As for TNA, well hell, nothing changing over there. It's still a promotion that nobody but the most hardcore wrestling fan gives a shit about and the ratings show that, and with all due respect to Ring of Honor, they're not even worth mentioning. Nobody watces ROH but the hardest of the hardcore

Seriously, wrestling SUCKS right now and the ratings are reflecting that on all sides. How sad is it that WWE has to market an Attitude Era campaign just to sell WWE 13? Seriously. THINK ABOUT THAT! Everything big they do right now is hanging on nostalgia because their current product is shit. What do you think they'll do to hype up Mania? The Rock, Lesner, Triple H and the return of the Undertaker. Old timers. And hell, Cena is waaaaaaaay past his expiration date and they are still banking on him as their top star

Oh WWE, you make me sad to be a wrestling fan

I've always felt the opposite about TNA. I feel it's more mainstream. I've always thought it was more accessible to the casual fans because it has more recognizable names like Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, RVD, Sting, and Hogan.

Right now it has better storylines than WWE, and without a shadow of a doubt it has better in-ring action than WWE.

Haven't played it yet but the WWE Universe mode is apparently written by Paul Heyman. Says so on the back of the case. Interesting.

I fell like the controls are pretty similar to Smackdown Vs. Raw (2008/2009). I haven't played anything after 2009. One thing I am getting frustrated with is that I suck at reversing. :lol:
