Re: Nintendo 3DS
Went to Best Buy today to see if they had a Wii U display and sadly they didn't, but decided to play the 3ds XL display and man that thing is awesome... So good that I'm tempted to trade my Vita for one... I'm not joking either.. The 3ds XL is a tremendous design other than absence of a second analog stick..

Re: Nintendo 3DS
I'm finally a member of the 3DS club. I got myself a blue one from Kmart over the weekend. They were selling them for $199 with a $20 gaming coupon. I used a new credit card to pay for it which will give me $150 cash back after first purchase. After using it for this purchase, I'll put it away and eventually close the account.
I'm looking forward to playing Paper Mario Sticker Star when it comes out. I have 2 copies pre-ordered since my kids also have 3DS.
For some reason, my kids seem to prefer the DS Lite. They have been playing it alot since Pokemon Black/White 2 were released a few weeks ago.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
I just opened it and I love it. The larger screen makes it really easy to see the 3D effect. I love the fact that the stylus is in the normal place. It drove me nuts with the location on the original 3DS. Small things do matter.
I bought a few games through the eShop: Pushmo, Mutant Mudds, Mighty Switch Force, and Ketzal. Bummer that Picross e is not available yet.

The Xl really does feel a lot more solid than the original. I don't think it is worth spending 100 dollars to upgrade (if you trade in your original), but the 3d does look A LOT better

...and the more important news are that 3DS is the platform for next Treasure game.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
I have been playing Zelda Ocarina of Time on the Wii VC but haven't really played it for 6 months. I'm currently in the Water Temple.
I'm debating whether I should drop the game and just start over but on my 3DS XL. What do people think? Is the experience on the 3DS much better than the N64? My kids each have 3DS OOT but they never played it so it not like I'll be going out and buying another game.
