Hello s8n, thank you for your response

I am using a Dell Inspiron 1520, the CD drive is listed as a Hitachi HL-DT-ST CDRW/DVD GCCT10N. Came with the laptop. The type of CD-R's im using are Philips CD-R 700MB, 80min, 52x speed data discs.
In my previous posts I mentioned that my backups all work using swap method and all my original games run accepts for my B.U.'s. I have not tried the site and program you speak of yet. When I get home from work I will them out and mabe pick up some more CD-R's, any that are recomended?
I am wearing powder and latex free vinal gloves when handeling the chip to ensure that im not passing any static electricity to the chip. I am using the copper test clips to avoid any unnecessary soldering in case I need to make a quick alteration. Are there some model SS's that are just un-modable? I need to do more testing I guess. Thank you again s8n.
