Halloween Costume Pictures 2012

Post by CFFJR »

Well, I made this thread last year and it got a good response, so I figured I'd do it again. Let's see pictures of your costumes!

My wife and I went game related again this year. Adam and Blaze!

Her belt slipped down a bit in this picture, but oh well. I think her costume came out great.

I was originally going to do Axel instead of Adam, but Adam is a bit more unique with the armor pieces and all, plus my hair and skin color is much closer. I probably wouldn't look so good with a blonde wig.

Don't want to create another Halloween thread, so here goes:

Does anyone else "reward" kids with great costumes with a special or extra candy?

I'm a fan of double bubble and fun size candy, but there's nothing like getting a full size candy bar as a kid during Halloween. Three luck kids will be getting an entire box of Count Chocula, Frankenberry, or Booberry from me tonight. More than likely these treats will be given to the best Batman or Avengers costume I see.

Last year we had a trick or treater who may have been 8-10 years old dressed as Kick-Ass. Probably gave him three hand fulls of candy for his effort.

I owe you one. Your post reminded me I need to charge my camera battery.

CCFJR, I love how you and your wife do combo costumes.

Here's my low-budget, mostly-inaccurate, just-for-fun costume this year. Some patron at my workplace still knew who I was, though -- which is, unbelievably, +1 from last Halloween.

The thong is always a dead giveaway.

I was actually wearing camouflage pants (does this make him an expert spotter?), but this is not the disappointment you might automatically assume it to be since it's my body shape we're talking about. Just telling it like it is.

Also, on a related note, Mass Effect multiplayer currently has jack-o-lanterns strewn about the locations. Cute.

No costume from the gf and I this year... been real busy and we were sad to not be able to come up with something.

Kudos to CFFJR and Key-Glyph though, awesome stuff.
