Had no idea an HD remake existed.

It's part of the Killzone Collection that Sony released recently without telling anyone. Includes the original game in HD, KZ2, and KZ3 + DLC IIRC.

I love these collections Sony's putting out for late adopters, but I really don't know why they're being so quiet about them. I never know about them until I suddenly see them on the shelf.

I broke my "one FPS at a time" rule; now I'm doing Call of Duty 2 Big Red One in addition to Rainbow Six 3 on the Gamecube. So far it's better than the first, there's a lot more action, objectives, and even the writing and dialogue has been very well done.

Does dishonored count as a FPS? Its more a first person swordfighter, its really amazing maybe my favorite this year. Very atmospheric with great gameplay and controls. Playing this on this xbox since my pc couldnt handle it.

Me too, I got big on the setting and all the history when I played Air Warrior back in 1997. It was a sorta massive multiplayer flight sim style online game that had all the real WWII planes. Then I got Iron Aces (another flight game) for Dreamcast, and picked up on MOH and COD as much as I could for PC and GameCube. Putting together WWII and FPS is a logical fit for me!

I had to look it up. Too bad it didn't get a GameCube release, but it looks to be available for PC. I hope its not "too" simulation like, because I can't get into those types.

It also got a PS2 release.

No, I would say that it is sort of in the vein of Aerofighters' Assault for N64. It has some cool planes, and even some prototypes. It has fighters, bombers, and the like. Definitely worth a play.
