Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Just found Ready 2 Rumble Boxing 2 for PS2 and Halo: Combat Evolved for PC. $.50 for each. My thrift shop rarely has good games, but if they do it's cheap ^_^
Maybe it's because I'm a real boxer, but Ready 2 Rumble is just no fun. On the other hand, I never owned an Xbox console, so it's time to see if the campaign is as good as its reputation.

Got a decent deal from a coworker today who was looking to thin out his collection. Koudelka, Super Mario Sunshine and Dead or Alive 3 for $20.
I nearly had him ready to sell his SNES collection which included games like Super Metroid, Link to the Past, and Final Fantasy II. Sadly, nostalgia overwhelmed him and he back out of that part of the deal. Oh well...

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Just in time for Halloween finds:
Resident Evil :The Darkside Chronicles (Wii; complete) - $8
and
Luigi's Manstion (NGC; game; "black label" case; missing manual) - $3
+ Luigi's Manstion Manual (eBay) - $8
= Luigi's Mansion (NGC; "black label"; complete) - $11
...
I also picked up a complete copy of Hot Shots Tennis (PS2) for $1 and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World on DVD for $2. (Those are not really Halloween-related, however...)

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I answered a couple of Craigslist ads and got a bunch of stuff today.
First off:

I got a PS2 slim with some Guitar Hero Stuff and a Greatest Hits Final Fantasy VII
$15

Next, a Colecovision games and accessories lot, but no console, so I can't test anything
Anyone have an extra Colecovision? I could use one
$20

I got a couple of Super Nintendo controllers, an AC adapter and RF switches and some games:
Super Mario World
Super Castlevania IV
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
Sim City
Operation Thunderbolt
Again, no console, can't test anything... Anyone have an extra?
$20

Then, a Gameboy Color with 4 Pokemon games and 3 crappy games
$30 (bit much, I think)

Finally, a DS lite with an Action Replay DSi and an R4 with a 2gb mini SD card
$20
Did I pay too much for anything?

I'm pretty sure you did very well. What I want to know is what kind of people sell stuff like that for such low prices? I want to meet them, the video game section of my local Craigslist is basically just full of junk that people want way too much money for. hahaLuigiman wrote:Did I pay too much for anything?

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Hah, I'm pretty lucky where I live. There are barely any video game collectors. The flea market near where I am is FILLED with games, and the only resellers there aren't the ones who go around buying up games from other people. Craigslist people here are awesome, as you have seen
Also, I think I'll keep the DS for now (:
I've actually been needing a new one for a while

Those pokemon games are $20 a piece on ebay. I would've gladly paid $40-50 for that gameboy lot.Luigiman wrote: Did I pay too much for anything?
