The first Nintendo-made title I managed to get for the GC, because the name Nintendo on eBay means $20 and up for GC games (got this complete for $15, so a decent score)

Developed by Sega/AV based off a Nintendo property, yes. Me and you may know that but even this game to the eBay masses screams ZOMG NINTENDO and still gets pretty expensive, fortunately not as bad as SSB Melee or MK Double Dash yetalienjesus wrote:

ExedExes, you must have a lot of willpower to only focus on one or two consoles at a time.
I'm all over the place. The other day the retro game store clerk commented: "You must have all the games you really want, because at this point you're just buying a bunch of random crap."

Re: Games Acquired 2012
Whilst on vacation I stopped by a couple of Gamestops and knocked the following off my "to get" lists:
PSP
Death Jr.
Cube
Samurai Showdown Anthology
PS2
Valkyrie Profile 2
Dragon Quest VIII
Growlanser: Heritage of War
All complete. My local stores seemed to be allergic to most of these, so I was happy to find them.
One of the stores was also giving away several posters, which my local shops never do, so I stupidly picked up two of these

I say stupidly, because after getting them I had to drag them around with me for another week, worrying and hoping all the while that they wouldn't get squished in transit.
The cd's you can kind of see in the picture were easier to carry, but now, thanks to Hobie, I now bemoan my lack of cargo shorts

It's the Nintendo fan in me. Soon I'll be getting the random crap and going back to the DreamcastBoneSnapDeez wrote:ExedExes, you must have a lot of willpower to only focus on one or two consoles at a time.

I don't plan on buying any more games this month.
And since I'll likely loose power for some time due to da storm I'm posting my October list now.
Art of Fighting 2 (NGCD – JPN)
Brain Lord (SNES)
Code of Princess (3DS)
Congo Bongo (Commodore 64)
Crazy Taxi (Dreamcast)
Ecco: The Tides of Time (Genesis)
Fatal Fury 3 (NGCD – JPN)
Fatal Fury Special (NGCD – JPN)
The King of Fighters '94 (NGCD – JPN)
The King of Fighters '95 (NGCD – JPN)
The King of Fighters '96 (NGCD – JPN)
The King of Fighters '97 (NGCD – JPN)
The King of Fighters '99 (NGCD – JPN)
Namco Museum (Dreamcast)
NCAA College Basketball 2K3 (Xbox)
NFL GameDay (PS)
NHL 2K (Dreamcast)
OutRun (Genesis)
Real Bout Fatal Fury (NGCD – JPN)
Samurai Spirits RPG (NGCD – JPN)
Super Hydlide (Genesis)
Super Play Action Football (SNES)
Super R-Type (SNES)
Super Space Invaders (GG)
True Golf Classics: Waialae Country Club (SNES)
Turrican (Genesis)
Video Olympics (2600)
Wave Race 64 (N64)
World Series Baseball (GG)
Code of Princess was the only game purchased new (on launch day). Then 10 NGCD games I ended up getting unexpectedly and for free when I ordered a console from an ebay seller. All other games are the typical thrift/record/game store finds.

Re: Games Acquired 2012
So i finally get the oXbox and it came with 8 disc only games and a handfull of "back up" games.
Metal Gear Solid 2 (i have never played ANY MGS on my life maybe this will be the first or i just wait and play the remake on gamecube first?)
StarWars Episode III
Mech Assault (awesome game!)
Halo 2
Spiderman 2
Genma Onimusha
Unreal Tournament (i already have this complete)
Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks (the best coop MK game!... the only MK coop game that i know)
And the xbox came with all wires and 1 3th party controller (it dosen't work well) and this week i will go and pick up 3 more controller that the seller forgot (he says that are broken but maybe i can fix them or give them to someone that can fix them).
So after 2 months i can finally play the xbox games that have been there collecting dust
