Sir Ben doesn't appear at the slightest to attempt to sound or look like an Asian. Cloud Atlas uses yellow face.

Back to IRON MAN 3. Something is obviously being set up. Millar is with Fox, so it isn't Civil War. We know the Infinity Gauntlet will be involved at some point, but I'm fairly certain a few more Avenger movies will be released before Thanos gets in the action.

The Tony Stark in the IM3 trailer reminds me a lot of the Tony Stark we saw during the House of M. Remorseful, scared, unsure of himself. Character development is a beautiful thing.

Nah, I'm betting thanos shows up in the next Avengers movie. Unless you just mean the individual character movies. Shane Black has said he wants to keep the focus on iron man, and avoid the overdone setup of iron man 2, so I wouldn't bet on much more than a couple very small cameos from the rest of the marvel movie universe. Although I'd still love to see Bruce Banner, but I don't think it's happening. . . Which is fine.

I'm betting we'll see Thanos in Guardians (and Avengers 2) if nothing else.

Sorry for the miscommunication. When I said "Avenger" movie, I meant the stand alone movies.

Thanos must be in Guardians and any subsequent The Avenger's movies, but I don't see him popping up in Captain America II. Then again, who knows?

Too early to speculate one Avenger will kick the bucket in Marvel's The Avenger's II?

I think it would be cool if they added an after-credits scene to each movie that's leading up to Avengers 2. Each one would be Thanos acquiring one of the Infinity Gems from whatever cosmic being possessed it. Much like the Thanos Quest story in the comics that immeadiatly preceeded Infinity Gauntlet.

I just checked his IMDB page, and Chris Hemsworth is in fact not a Norse God but is actually from Australia. Why would they ever cast an Australian to play a Norse God? Couldn't they have at least tried to find a Norse God to play a Norse God?

Yeah, we're ridiculous for expecting the onscreen character to reflect the character that's been around in the source material for 40+ years.

Because we'd all love to see Mexican Superman or Indian Wolverine, right?

Strict adherence to the source material doesn't guarantee anything. Watchmen proved that.

Were you bothered by Nick Fury not being white?

I'd already gotten over that one because of the Ultimates comics released years earlier. Which is what they based their Nick Fury on (which was based off of Samuel L. Jackson, ironically enough, so the role was kind of tailor-made for him).

However I was bothered by the fact that Kingpin was black in Daredevil.

And I don't think picking an Asian actor from thousands of different Asian actors out there is "strict" adherance to the source material. It's just getting one of the main characters right.
