How long has it been, since the news were a reliable source of information?

The BBC is still, for the most part, worth reading. The NYT isn't terrible, far better than anything on the TV.

Neither of the main candidates interest me at all so I'm just not voting.

Better to vote for a third party candidate than not vote at all. Or write in your own nominee to let your disenchantment shine through. If you're going to do the write-in though, be sure to make it something clever, so at the very least some poor vote counter can get a chuckle out of it.

I'm 36 and I have actually never voted so my decision is nothing new. I'd rather not participate and legitimize the BS two party system.

Wouldn't voting for a 3rd party show your dissatisfaction with the 2 party system?

That's not why I question him. The latter questions I'm actually truly curious to know - it's a sad state that many even here haven't truly bothered to actually see for themselves either Democratic or Republican (or third party, or foreign party) platforms. They parrot what they here. No "news site" is more egregious at spreading blatant lies (remember, this was the company that helped overturn the Fairness Doctrine and not too long ago won a lawsuit arguing that they had a right to lie. Not to mention the point emchrisg brought up. Now, perhaps SamuraiMegas isn't under such influence, but for popping up for a single pundit line "nobama" at the tender age of 14 doesn't bode well.

I brought it up primarily because I'm shocked that someone who experienced bullying would support a party who's in direct alliance with some pro-bullying organizations, as well as supporting a pro-bully candidate (if you think Mitt Romney changed, just look at how he treated people at Bain to know that he's the same old silver-spooned bully as he was when he targeted homosexuals). Meanwhile, the Democratic Party has long been on the front of anti-bullying.

Now, I'm no single-issue voter, so perhaps Samurai would like to explain what other factors led him to choose someone else over Obama (I'm also betting that it's Romney, and not Jill Stein).

I get my news exclusively from Comedy Central. It's the same load of bullshit you can get anywhere else, but at least I'll come out of it laughing.

The story of John Lauber being bullied was denounced as being factually incorrect by his family and they didn't appreciate him being politicized.

Furthermore, the idea that Romney is the "rich, out-of-touch canidate" and Obama isn't is just laughable.

I dislike both canidates, but Obama is bad for America. It also annoys me that people are voting for him due to the fact that he killed Osama Bin Laden (iknow a few people doing that) when what was it Clinton's administration that set up the the plans? Obama just had to push a button. He isn't supporting Isreal like he should either and i dislike that. Plus the fact that he took what 33-35 vacations in his entire time elected? Bush took around two vacations the entire time. Stay in the White House and do something other than come up wit terrible health care please and thank you.
