Hey guys,
I'm super stoked. I got an "unofficial" phone call today from my future boss, informing me that they will be offering me a position with them. The job is for a Network/Server Administrator for a medical corporation that owns one of the local hospitals. I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with an emphasis in Network Administration. So far I have been really great at getting down to the final consideration for some really great jobs, but my lack of experience has lost them all. But, these guys really like me. My interviews were more like casual conversations with a few tech questions thrown in for good measure. The official job offer will come when they get the results of my background check.
Sorry if no one cares, but I'm really excited and am just now getting to feel like college wasn't a huge waste of my time.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your job for a while, that newbie optimism is alive and well.
Sooner or later (hopefully a lot later) you'll tire of your job.

Congrats! I spent over a year looking for a job after getting my MLS degree last year. It was an terrible experience - hence making Unemployment Quest.
