Okay, I STILL haven't gotten anything yet.
But that ebay seller has a new feature on that sd2iec:

The "DiskSwap and Reset/Root Buttons" seem like they'd be pretty handy, especially with multi-disk games.
...but that adds another $26+ to the cost.
So, I've got a question:
Does anyone know of a list of multi-disk C64 games?
and/or
What are the multi-disk games that would be a shame to miss?
I'm trying to see if it would be worth the extra cost to me.
In any case, I'm still pretty set on the SD2IEC route. I just don't know when I'm finally going to take the plunge.

RPGs are going to be multi disk. Most of them have at least a boot disk and then a 'character' disk that contains game data and of course you save your progress and characters to. Bard's Tale, Ultima, Might & Magic, Wasteland, Gold Box AD&D games. If you're going to stick to mostly arcade games, those are mostly 1 disk side. Heck, a lot of cracked games were 5-10 on a single disk side.

Hmm,
so the question mostly lies in RPGs then?
There's a few I might want to check out, just to see how the game was handled (Might and Magic II and Wasteland are of interest).
But I also see that Gauntlet III and the Turrican games come on 2-3 disks.
I'm bound to find a few others that I'd like to play too, so I might still want that feature.

Of the games I'm familiar with, mostly RPGs yes. There are multi side non RPGs though. Echelon is one. Of course all the EA Construction Set games would use another disk to save your work.
