November 19th.......$250.
Games = $50.

According to IGN, it comes with bundled with a copy of Wii Sports (surprise! and now with "boxing"!), a Controller, Nunchuck, sensor bar, console stand, your requisite items, etc. They also announced it comes with a "photo channel" and a create-your-own-3D-likeness program, which was already known about.
Nov 19...2 days after the PS3's launch, and at $350 less than the PS3's premium bundle. And it comes with a pack-in game. A shame that game wasn't Zelda, but at least now you're getting the famous tech-demo you might not have purchased otherwise.
Strangely, Gamespot is saying differently about the system coming with a pack-in title, and they also say it doesn't even come with a nunchuck which sounds a little absurd...I don't buy it.
But it'll all be figured out soon, I'm sure.
Wii Price and Release Date!

Just in time for preorders. But it has to have a nunchuck, all but a few of the obscure launch games need it, including the boxing game in Wii Sports. Gamespot's article seemed rushed in comparison, everyone wants to be firstMozgus wrote:Tomorrow afternoon, yup.SegaVega wrote:But it'll all be figured out soon, I'm sure.
It might still be $250 when Smash hits. It might not have a DVD player or whatever, but for $250 it has to be the best overall value since the NES launch, considering all the stuff it comes with. Especially these days.Mozgus wrote:I wont be buying at launch. $250 just isn't worth it. I'll wait until Smash.
EXPECTED EDIT: Gamespot quietly fixed their story just now, and with no mention of their errors.
Update: I feel like death. No wonder I had to go to a surgeon for this, since the dentist said hell no, last month. The guy really struggled to get it out. My head feels like it's been punted.Mozgus wrote:Man, I'm going to be getting a tooth pulled RIGHT when the english conference starts. This blows.
