Seems to me like F-Zero may be the easiest SNES game to find sealed copies of. Doesn't mean it's not an awesome find though.

My retro game store has a couple of sealed F-Zeros, but for some reason I haven't purchased one yet. :?

While I was on vacation I went to the only retro store listed in Hawaii. It was pretty impressive, but it really didn't have much I was interested in getting. I did, however, manage to find one game. I'm not really familiar with SFC games, so I'm not sure if it's considered a 'find' or not, but I was pretty happy with it anyway.

$5

I also got a blue Mario mushroom plushie while I was there. I posted it and some other, game and non-game related things in the non-gaming finds thread.

Yu Yu Hakusho 2 is very, very common in Japan. For $5 though, why not go for it? It's a decent fighter. It's probably cheaper than you could find it anywhere outside of Japan. :)

 Yeah, I figured it was probably pretty common, but for $5 why the hell not, right? I've never seen any kind of import at all over here in Florida, so I would have had to buy it over the internet otherwise. I probably would have had to pay at least $5 for shipping alone, so I'm pretty pleased with it, even if it's not an "oh-my-gawd" awesome type of thing.

FREE! Always my favorite kind of find. A buddy of mine picks all summer and then put his finds in eBay to pay for Christmas. He is a master and finding huge flips. But his area of expertise is not video games. He knows enough to be dangerous but calls me to go through all his haul and really figure out what's what. He didn't dissapointed this year. Had about 10 big banana boxes full of retro gaming goodness. Spent 3 hours sorting and talking and teaching him stuff. Have me these goodies for the help.

Zelda DX - box only and manuals only, already have the game. Now it's complete!
Bmx xxx - CIB
Luigi's mansion -CIB, was my 1st GC game... Traded away long ago, wanted it back
Joshua battle of Jericho- my name is josh, had to add this one to the collection.
Mario 2 - cart and plastic case
15 nes dust covers, still need about 50 more

He had a few big ticket items but most were things I already had or didnt really want and I try not to snipe the best stuff unless I really want it.

I hit up one of the local thrift stores late last week, and on the way out I noticed a stray 6 button pad behind the counter, lying on the floor with no wires attached. Being a curious person, I inquired about it and had the salesperson root around the area for the seemingly missing sensor unit for the Genesis. Come to find out it was thrown in with a Sega CD and Genesis lot they had concocted for the low, low price of $50.95. I was going to walk away, but the manager asked me what price it would take for me to pop on the lot and we met at $30.00 + taxes for the console set, wireless controller + receiver, all Sega CD base plates & screws, and a cib copy of Shadowrun that I almost walked by. Its not the best haul Ive had from the thrifts, but the game and controller work wonderfully and I eventually got the Sega CD to work after I boiled the rubber mounts for the CD lens assembly. The genesis power ups, but seems to be fickle when reading games so I plan to sell that along with a broken Sega CD I have laying around to house to help recoup some of the money I spent. I'm happy, and finally have a working Sega CD.

And it's a decent game to boot! Nothing wrong with spending $5 on a decent game. :)

5quid for a lot including those guns is insane! Those are really nice guns and worth way more than what you paid; let alone getting all that other stuff as well!!!

Nice finds from the last couple posters as well (working Sega CD set for $30 rocks!).
