Goodwill:
Bases Loaded (Gameboy) w/ Plastic Case: $1.50

Thrift Store:
$5 each:
Telegames Sears Sports Center (Console):

Telegames Sears Speedway (Console):

Cosmetically, both are in great shape. They use those huge C and/or D batteries and might be able to use a ac adapter as well. Other than that, they use RF. I'll have to read up more on them.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Friday afternoon pickups:

$10 each.
Kind of unique finding the collector's edition version of Crash Warped in the wild (its brother game, Crash Bash was also present but the other ones were absent). As for RE:DC, I've actually never played this one so it should be a fun treat. Both games are "resurfaced" (sadface), but they work fine as PS1 games are incredibly resilient as we all know. Another awesome thing is the crash copy has a manual that has that "freshly printed" smell. I haven't had the pleasure of smelling that in years, so that was nice.
The store also had a complete copy of Einhander for $25, although I passed because A: I really have no interest in the game, and B, I'm trying to limit my spending as the amount I've spent on game shopping in the last few months is....shocking to say the least. What even is Einhander anyway? I know it's a Square game and thus has a vastly inflated market price, but I'm too lazy to actually look up what it is.

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
I've been kind of slacking on posting a few of my finds. So just catching up from the past few weeks:
Picked up these import games for about $55:
Cotton 100% (SNES, CIB)
Radirgy - GeneriC (Gamecube, CIB)
Robo Aleste (NTSC, CIB)
Detana Twinbee Yahho-! Deluxe Pack (CIB)

This was my haul from the Retro Gaming expo (hope these kinds of finds are ok for this thread) a few weekends ago. Kind of hard to see everything. All the items listed under the spoiler if you want to take a guess at what everything is.

Recently picked up Captain Commando for $30. Pretty much market value but it has to be one of the best beat'em ups!

You could have googled it in the time it took to type that sentence.ice445 wrote:What even is Einhander anyway? I know it's a Square game and thus has a vastly inflated market price, but I'm too lazy to actually look up what it is.

It's a game that you should not have passed up. Seriously, it's possible the best 32-bit Square game. No joke.ice445 wrote:What even is Einhander anyway? I know it's a Square game and thus has a vastly inflated market price, but I'm too lazy to actually look up what it is.
And if you are too lazy to look it up, people here will probably be to lazy to tell you what it is.

It's like Tetris, but with more ninjas, and purple flowers...ice445 wrote:What even is Einhander anyway? I know it's a Square game and thus has a vastly inflated market price, but I'm too lazy to actually look up what it is.
And you have to play the game with only one hand...
