See, I'm trying to decide the same thing, but my reasoning went "Tyler Perry isn't cross dressing, I think I want to see it".

Refreshing... ^^

Only negative is that he was far too exposed in the beginning not to be recognized as Spider-Man later on.

But that shouldn't keep you from watching this movie...

You're right. I'm kidding myself. Tyler Perry is good in everything.
*double checks imdb*

Tyler Perry doesn't show up at all in the writing, direction, or production of ALEX CROSS. I'm starting to have my doubts.

I'll see it tomorrow.

One thing I wish the spidey-movies would do is actually give him a recognizable spider-man costume that actually looks like something homemade. I mean how does he get a suit made of out basketballs anyway?

F/X

F/X was one of those iconic 80s movies for me, it wasn't as popular as Hollywood blockbusters but it had everything just right, not to mention two of TV's greatest legends (Brian Dennehy, Jerry Orbach) and a memorable credits song. It's just an illuuuusssiooonn.. as indeed everything is.

Bluray transfer is far from perfect, but it'll have to do.

To be fair, the pic elmagico posted is all over the place terrible. Looks like shitty cgi in the movie, but not that amount of shittery. What in hell is with his right knee?

By the way, I had a Russian Dwarf Hamster with 3 legs named Wilma when I was younger.

It wasn't a rat. But seriously, what are the chances... :o

You're missing out then. I HATE the costume changes as well. Spider-Man's costume is already one of the coolest costumes in all of comics. There's no need to change it. However the movie itself, not taking the costume into account, is pretty good. Good story and likable characters. Plus great battle scenes, for sure.
