What single player FPS campaign are you playing?

Finally found time to get back to MOH Rising Sun.

Elephant mounted machine gun! Just what I always wanted to do in FPS!

I do believe I'm on the last mission now.

I'm pretty nostalgic for it, but I've noticed every single time I go back to replay it, I never finish it or even get that far sometimes (I often stop at the train tunnels section, that place goes on forever). The game doesn't really grab me anymore. I still think it's an essential game everyone should play (and not just Black Mesa, but the original), but yeah. Despite that being my favorite era of FPS's, I'd put Deus Ex, the Thief games, System Shock 2, and Unreal over it personally.

Dunno, pains me to say it, but my feelings on it are pretty weird at this point. Finally burned out on a game perhaps? Haha. I think HL2 ages really well though and it's easier to get addicted and run through. Feels like I replay that one yearly, lol.
Just deleted the BMS files from the Steam folder for extra space.. Just don't want to revisit the game.. Here's hoping HL3 comes out during this century.

I'm about to start up Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 on the Gamecube in the next day or so. This is my first Tactical FPS, so I know there's gonna be a lot more in the details and not just go out and shoot things. Looks to be exciting and a bit different than being able to take 190 hits and still come out a winner

As far as the MOH series goes; the PC versions were far and away much superior to the console versions.

Now I'm not a PC guy at all, but when I played Allied Assault at my buddy's house after playing Frontline, I was floored.

Oh, does anyone recall Day of Defeat?

I felt the same. But Frontline introduced me to the series.

@E.E. - Did you ever play MOH Heroes 2 for Wii? I thought it was great; the motion sensor aim was responsive, good difficulty; plus I remember online being decent, too. It also has an arcadey rail-shooter mode in it, too.

I've not done that one yet. I've still got to get through the MOH: AA expansion packs, MOH Pacific Assault, MOH Airborne, and MOH European Assault on the GameCube. I'm hoping to finish MOH Rising Sun tonight.

European Assault was decent; basically similar in style to Allied Assault, but for consoles.

If you're a MOH fan, I definitely recommend Heroes 2 on Wii, then.

I know MOH is gonna be good pretty much anywhere, and that 10th anniversary PC collection was a great buy for me. By my slow timetable, I should be on Heroes 2 within the next 3 years or so

I bought that one back when it was new. It's OK, but it's no MOHAA.
