Which systems should I bring!!?

Post by someone3760 »

I am going on a trip soon and am not sure of what systems to bring. At most I'm going to bring 3. They are 3DS,DS,Gameboy advance SP, Gameboy Color, and PSP. Which ones? Thanks!

3DS, GBA SP, and PSP. That's the combo that gives you access to the largest number of games.

Depending on trip length and access to AC power, I'd be cautious about the PSP. The battery on it tends to have issues holding a charge after a while.

How about 0, or maybe 1 at most and enjoy the trip? Maybe a book that doesn't require power?

Out! We'll have none of your "enjoy the outdoors/folk art/crumbling ruins" talk here!

He could read....

READ IN GAME TEXT!

Also 3DS, GBASP, and PSP for the 3 I'd pick. Since you're traveling I'd leave the Atari Lynx, Sega Game Gear and original Game Boy at home. They would take up the entire trunk of the car. Not to mention the trailer of AA batteries you will have to bring with.
NES, SNES, PS1, N64, DC, PS2, GCN, Wii, PS3, 360, GB, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, PSP 3000, and 3DS XL

3 systems? How long is this trip - a month or more?

I say bring one - find an RPG or lengthy game that will last the duration of the trip.

Oh, and you realize that there's a bit of overlap in the consoles you listed, right? A 3DS will play DS games, a DS (early models) will play GBA games, and a GBA will play GBC games.

I never bring my PSP on trips because it's so wimpy and flaky.

I think people will agree that the system most suited to your needs here is the original Xbox.

Either that or an Atari 5200 or original model CD-I.
